They devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles and to the communal fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayers. They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
You need to be steadfast if you want to do the will of God and receive what he has promised. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.
Those who live according to the flesh fix their attention on the things of the flesh, while those who live according to the Spirit set their thoughts on spiritual things. For those who are in accord with the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are in accord with the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
However, whoever lives by the truth comes to the light so that it may be clearly seen that his deeds have been done in God.But the one who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds will be revealed as having been performed in God.
If you obey the command that I give you today, to love the Lord, your God, and to walk in his ways, and to observe his commandments, statutes, and decrees, then you will live and multiply, and the Lord, your God, will bless you in the land that you are entering to possess. In that I am commanding you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, so that you may live and become numerous, and that the Lord your God may bless you in the land where you are entering to take possession of it.
Take heed to follow the commandments and the laws that Moses, the servant of the Lord, gave you: to love the Lord, your God, and to walk in his ways and to observe his commandments, holding fast to him and serving him with all your heart and all your soul.Only be very careful to follow the commandment and the Law which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God and walk in all His ways, and keep His commandments and cling to Him, and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
When anyone turns a deaf ear to the law, even his prayer is detestable. One who turns his ear away from listening to the Law, Even his prayer is an abomination.
And so now, O Israel, what does the Lord, your God, require of you but to fear the Lord, your God, to walk in all of his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord, your God, with all your heart and all your soul, and to observe the commandments and the statutes that I am giving you today for your own good. And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and love Him, and to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the Lord’s commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today for your good?
To do your will, O God, is my delight; your law is in my heart.I delight to do Your will, my God; Your Law is within my heart.
I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinegrower. He removes every branch that does not bear fruit, and every branch that does he prunes to make it bear even more.I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit.
The Lord commanded us to observe all of these statutes and to fear the Lord, our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, even as we are today. So the Lord commanded us to follow all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God for our own good always and for our survival, as it is today.
