Bible Verses about 'Our thoughts'

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts.
Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.Let the wicked abandon his way, And the unrighteous person his thoughts; And let him return to the Lord, And He will have compassion on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.’
Commit your works to the Lord, And your thoughts will be established.Commit your works to the Lord, And your plans will be established.
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, even penetrating as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.Search me, God, and know my heart; Put me to the test and know my anxious thoughts; And see if there is any hurtful way in me, And lead me in the everlasting way.
For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.For who among people knows the thoughts of a person except the spirit of the person that is in him? So also the thoughts of God no one knows, except the Spirit of God.
In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul. When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your comfort delights my soul.
O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off.Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I get up; You understand my thought from far away.
And He said, “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile a man.”And He was saying, “That which comes out of the person, that is what defiles the person. For from within, out of the hearts of people, come the evil thoughts, acts of sexual immorality, thefts, murders, acts of adultery, deeds of greed, wickedness, deceit, indecent behavior, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile the person.”
Turn at my rebuke; Surely I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you.Turn to my rebuke, Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you.
For the Lord is our Judge, The Lord is our Lawgiver, The Lord is our King; He will save us.For the Lord is our judge, The Lord is our lawgiver, The Lord is our king; He will save us.
And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, And establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands.May the kindness of the Lord our God be upon us; And confirm for us the work of our hands; Yes, confirm the work of our hands.
So we fasted and entreated our God for this, and He answered our prayer. So we fasted and sought our God concerning this matter, and He listened to our pleading.
Give us this day our daily bread.Give us this day our daily bread.
Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.Set your minds on the things that are above, not on the things that are on earth.
It is a snare for a man to devote rashly something as holy, And afterward to reconsider his vows.It is a trap for a person to say carelessly, “It is holy!” And after the vows to make inquiry.
You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, Because he trusts in You.
May the Lord our God be with us, as He was with our fathers. May He not leave us nor forsake us.May the Lord our God be with us, as He was with our fathers; may He not leave us nor forsake us.
Help us, O God of our salvation, For the glory of Your name; And deliver us, and provide atonement for our sins, For Your name’s sake!Help us, God of our salvation, for the glory of Your name; And save us and forgive our sins for the sake of Your name.
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. But He was pierced for our offenses, He was crushed for our wrongdoings; The punishment for our well-being was laid upon Him, And by His wounds we are healed.
To which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. It was for this He called you through our gospel, that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
