| Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people. | Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. |
| For Yahweh takes pleasure in his people. He crowns the humble with salvation. | For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. |
| Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh, the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance. | Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. |
