Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation nor turning shadow.Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.

My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.

But may the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus.
