| “I will sanctify my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am Yahweh,” says the Lord Yahweh, “when I am proven holy in you before their eyes.” | And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord God, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. |

| Therefore, brothers, be more diligent to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never stumble. For thus you will be richly supplied with the entrance into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. | Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. |
| You may say in your heart, “How shall we know the word which Yahweh has not spoken?” When a prophet speaks in Yahweh’s name, if the thing doesn’t follow, nor happen, that is the thing which Yahweh has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You shall not be afraid of him. | And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him. |
| Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all wrongs. | Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins. |
| Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. | Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established. |
| Or can one walk on hot coals, and his feet not be scorched? | Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned? |
| A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps. | A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps. |
| The fear of Yahweh teaches wisdom. Before honor is humility. | The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility. |
| Don’t weary yourself to be rich. In your wisdom, show restraint. | Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom. |
| Yahweh’s blessing brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it. | The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. |
| Like water reflects a face, so a man’s heart reflects the man. | As in water face answereth to face, so the heart of man to man. |
| A fool’s lips come into strife, and his mouth invites beatings. | A fool's lips enter into contention, and his mouth calleth for strokes. |
