The hand of the diligent will rule, But the lazy hand will be put to forced labor.The hands of the diligent ones shall rule, but laziness ends in slave labor.

Through overconfidence comes nothing but strife, But wisdom is with those who receive counsel.Pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is with people who take advice.
Wealth obtained from nothing dwindles, But one who gathers by labor increases it.Wealth gained dishonestly dwindles away, but he who gathers by hand makes it grow.

One who walks with wise people will be wise, But a companion of fools will suffer harm.One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.
A trustworthy witness will not lie, But a false witness declares lies.A truthful witness will not lie, but a false witness pours out lies.
There is a way which seems right to a person, But its end is the way of death.There is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.

Without consultation, plans are frustrated, But with many counselors they succeed.Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established.
A person has joy in an apt answer, And how delightful is a timely word!Joy comes to a man with the reply of his mouth. How good is a word at the right time!
The fear of the Lord is the instruction for wisdom, And before honor comes humility.The fear of Yahweh teaches wisdom. Before honor is humility.
Commit your works to the Lord, And your plans will be established.Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed.
Better is a little with righteousness Than great income with injustice.Better is a little with righteousness, than great revenues with injustice.
The mind of a person plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps.
How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen above silver.How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! Yes, to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.
One who pays attention to the word will find good, And blessed is one who trusts in the Lord.He who heeds the Word finds prosperity. Whoever trusts in Yahweh is blessed.
