| The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help. | The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry. |
| But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil; he will erase their memory from the earth. | The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. |
| The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. | But the Lord will redeem those who serve him. No one who takes refuge in him will be condemned. | The Lord redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned. |
| Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. | Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. |
