Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you.
When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.God, having raised up his servant Jesus, sent him to you first to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your wickedness.
Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal.
Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.You fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.Therefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as you also do.

The Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous.Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down. Yahweh loves the righteous.
When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, Lord, supported me.When I said, “My foot is slipping!” Your loving kindness, Yahweh, held me up.
Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”He called the multitude to himself with his disciples and said to them, “Whoever wants to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”
Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me.He who doesn’t take his cross and follow after me isn’t worthy of me.
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season if we don’t give up.
Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up.Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down, but a kind word makes it glad.
How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you.Oh how great is your goodness, which you have laid up for those who fear you, which you have worked for those who take refuge in you, before the sons of men!
Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.Because your loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise you. So I will bless you while I live. I will lift up my hands in your name.
And walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.Walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.
He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless.He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity.
The Lord said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain and stay here, and I will give you the tablets of stone with the law and commandments I have written for their instruction.”Yahweh said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain, and stay here, and I will give you the stone tablets with the law and the commands that I have written, that you may teach them.”

Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst again; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.

This Jesus, who was received up from you into the sky, will come back in the same way as you saw him going into the sky.”
Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.”Then Peter came and said to him, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I don’t tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven.”
See, the enemy is puffed up; his desires are not upright— but the righteous person will live by his faithfulness.Behold, his soul is puffed up. It is not upright in him, but the righteous will live by his faith.
Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.But speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him who is the head, Christ.

Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy.
