Bible Verses about Righteousness

Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor.He who follows after righteousness and kindness finds life, righteousness, and honor.
God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”Who “will pay back to everyone according to their works.”
But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.But you, man of God, flee these things, and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.

Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever.For he will never be shaken. The righteous will be remembered forever.
To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to Yahweh than sacrifice.
The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry.Yahweh’s eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry.
But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.”But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “Don’t fear what they fear, neither be troubled.”
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season if we don’t give up.
Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.See that no one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always follow after that which is good for one another and for all.
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age.For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age.
Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers.Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand on the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers.
Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun.
Ill-gotten treasures have no lasting value, but righteousness delivers from death.Treasures of wickedness profit nothing, but righteousness delivers from death.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.
A wicked person earns deceptive wages, but the one who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward.Wicked people earn deceitful wages, but one who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward.
And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that.If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
It is a trap to dedicate something rashly and only later to consider one’s vows.It is a snare to a man to make a rash dedication, then later to consider his vows.
I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands.With my whole heart I have sought you. Don’t let me wander from your commandments.

Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners. Purify your hearts, you double-minded.
