- Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road is easy that leads to destruction, and there are many who take it. For the gate is narrow and the road is hard that leads to life, and there are few who find it.
- Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” Immediately he regained his sight and followed him on the way.
- A highway shall be there,
and it shall be called the Holy Way;
the unclean shall not travel on it,
but it shall be for God's people;
no traveler, not even fools, shall go astray. - Make me to know your ways, O Lord;
teach me your paths. - Keep these words that I am commanding you today in your heart. Recite them to your children and talk about them when you are at home and when you are away, when you lie down and when you rise.
- Thus says the Lord:
Stand at the crossroads, and look,
and ask for the ancient paths,
where the good way lies; and walk in it,
and find rest for your souls.
But they said, “We will not walk in it.” - Out of my distress I called on the Lord;
the Lord answered me and set me in a broad place.
A fool despises a parent's instruction,
but the one who heeds admonition is prudent.
