For the same reason you also pay taxes, for the authorities are God's servants, busy with this very thing. For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing.
Pay to all what is due them—taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, honor to whom honor is due.Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed.

Who are you to pass judgment on servants of another? It is before their own lord that they stand or fall. And they will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make them stand.Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
Some judge one day to be better than another, while others judge all days to be alike. Let all be fully convinced in their own minds. One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.
If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord; so then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's.For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's.
For it is written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall give praise to God.”For it is written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.”
