Bible Verses about 'Romans 6-23'

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. For the wages of sin is death, but the gracious gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
What then are we to say? Should we continue in sin in order that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin go on living in it?What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? Far from it! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?
Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death?
For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. We know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be destroyed, and we might no longer be enslaved to sin.For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin.
No longer present your members to sin as instruments of wickedness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and present your members to God as instruments of righteousness. And do not go on presenting the parts of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those who are alive from the dead, and your body’s parts as instruments of righteousness for God.
For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace. For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under the Law but under grace.
What then? Should we sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means! What then? Are we to sin because we are not under the Law but under grace? Far from it!
But now that you have been freed from sin and enslaved to God, the advantage you get is sanctification. The end is eternal life. But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life.
What then should we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet, if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? Far from it! On the contrary, I would not have come to know sin except through the Law; for I would not have known about coveting if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. Therefore there is now no condemnation at all for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For those who are in accord with the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are in accord with the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace.
And those who are in the flesh cannot please God.And those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also through his Spirit that dwells in you.But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons and daughters of God.
For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received a spirit of adoption. When we cry, “Abba! Father!”For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons and daughters by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!”
It is that very Spirit bearing witness with our spirit that we are children of God.The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God.
I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory about to be revealed to us.For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the children of God.For the eagerly awaiting creation waits for the revealing of the sons and daughters of God.
But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience. But if we hope for what we do not see, through perseverance we wait eagerly for it.
Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but that very Spirit intercedes with sighs too deep for words. Now in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know what to pray for as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
And God, who searches the heart, knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.And He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
He who did not withhold his own Son, but gave him up for all of us, will he not with him also give us everything else?He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?

Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will hardship, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or trouble, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?
