Bible Verses about 'Romans 6-23'

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
What then are we to say? Should we continue in sin in order that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin go on living in it?What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. We know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be destroyed, and we might no longer be enslaved to sin.For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.
No longer present your members to sin as instruments of wickedness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and present your members to God as instruments of righteousness. And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.
For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
What then? Should we sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means! What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!
But now that you have been freed from sin and enslaved to God, the advantage you get is sanctification. The end is eternal life. But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life.
What then should we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet, if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”
There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
And those who are in the flesh cannot please God.So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also through his Spirit that dwells in you.But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received a spirit of adoption. When we cry, “Abba! Father!”For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”
It is that very Spirit bearing witness with our spirit that we are children of God.The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.
I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory about to be revealed to us.For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the children of God.For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.
But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience. But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but that very Spirit intercedes with sighs too deep for words.Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
And God, who searches the heart, knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
He who did not withhold his own Son, but gave him up for all of us, will he not with him also give us everything else?He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will hardship, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!

Indeed, the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing until it divides soul from spirit, joints from marrow; it is able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.Next verse! With image
