| The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous runs into it and is safe. | The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. |
| Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary. | But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. | Therefore, since we also have such a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let’s rid ourselves of every obstacle and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with endurance the race that is set before us. | Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles.
