On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.”When Jesus heard that, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.”
Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.”But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, “Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well.”
And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
Jesus said, “I am with you for only a short time, and then I am going to the one who sent me.”Then Jesus said to them, “I shall be with you a little while longer, and then I go to Him who sent Me.”
The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.”But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”
“The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.
After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.
Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.
The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’For in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’
“Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.
When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.
But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.”Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.”
“Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”
Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last.And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit.’ ” Having said this, He breathed His last.
Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” And they divided His garments and cast lots.
Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”
“Now then,” said Joshua, “throw away the foreign gods that are among you and yield your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.”“Now therefore,” he said, “put away the foreign gods which are among you, and incline your heart to the Lord God of Israel.”
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
Paul said, “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.”Then Paul said, “John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.”
Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.”
On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.”On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.”
But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’

While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”
