How does God's love abide in anyone who has the world's goods and sees a brother or sister in need and yet refuses help?If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person?
But whenever you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Because we look not at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen; for what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal.So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.
God said, “See, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit; you shall have them for food.”Then God said, “Look! I have given you every seed-bearing plant throughout the earth and all the fruit trees for your food.”
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God.
Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe.”Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.”
But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.

I believe that I shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living.
He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness.For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you.
See, I am coming soon; my reward is with me, to repay according to everyone's work.Look, I am coming soon, bringing my reward with me to repay all people according to their deeds.
Pursue peace with everyone, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord.
Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?”Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?”
Why do you see the speck in your neighbor's eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye?And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own?

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.
