| What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? | What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? |

| Many will be purified, cleansed, and refined by these trials. But the wicked will continue in their wickedness, and none of them will understand. | Well then, am I suggesting that the law of God is sinful? Of course not! In fact, it was the law that showed me my sin. However, I wouldn’t have known sin except through the law. For I wouldn’t have known coveting unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.” |
| Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure, just as he is pure. | Beloved, now we are children of God. | When you become aware of your guilt in any of these ways, you must confess your sin. | It shall be, when he is guilty of one of these, he shall confess that in which he has sinned. |

| But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. | But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint. |
| I thirst for God, the living God. When can I go and stand before him? | My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? |
