You shall keep these things that I command you today in your heart. Teach them to your children. You shall talk of them when you are sitting in your home, and when you are walking along the way, and when you lie down and when you rise up.And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.
O Lord, at daybreak you hear my voice; at daybreak I bring my petition before you and await your reply.Listen to my voice in the morning, Lord. Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly.
Thus you could understand that the Lord, your God, was disciplining you, just like a father disciplines his son.Think about it: Just as a parent disciplines a child, the Lord your God disciplines you for your own good.
You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain, for the Lord will not consider blameless those who take his name in vain.You must not misuse the name of the Lord your God. The Lord will not let you go unpunished if you misuse his name.

I am the Lord, your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt. You know no God but me, nor any savior other than me.I have been the Lord your God ever since I brought you out of Egypt. You must acknowledge no God but me, for there is no other savior.
