Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up.Each of us is to please his neighbor for his good, to his edification.

Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart.Blessed are those who comply with His testimonies, And seek Him with all their heart.
Moreover, when God gives someone wealth and possessions, and the ability to enjoy them, to accept their lot and be happy in their toil—this is a gift of God.Furthermore, as for every person to whom God has given riches and wealth, He has also given him the opportunity to enjoy them and to receive his reward and rejoice in his labor; this is the gift of God.
It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them.For by their own sword they did not possess the land, And their own arm did not save them, But Your right hand and Your arm and the light of Your presence, For You favored them.

If anyone turns a deaf ear to my instruction, even their prayers are detestable.One who turns his ear away from listening to the Law, Even his prayer is an abomination.
The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry.The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, And His ears are toward their cry for help.
When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.Now whenever you fast, do not make a gloomy face as the hypocrites do, for they distort their faces so that they will be noticed by people when they are fasting. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.
Believers in humble circumstances ought to take pride in their high position. But the rich should take pride in their humiliation—since they will pass away like a wild flower.Now the brother or sister of humble circumstances is to glory in his high position; but the rich person is to glory in his humiliation, because like flowering grass he will pass away.
Fools find no pleasure in understanding but delight in airing their own opinions.A fool does not delight in understanding, But in revealing his own mind.
So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off.Then, when they had fasted, prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.
But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.But if you do not forgive other people, then your Father will not forgive your offenses.
Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.For those who are in accord with the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are in accord with the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth.By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, And by the breath of His mouth all their lights.
Children’s children are a crown to the aged, and parents are the pride of their children.Grandchildren are the crown of the old, And the glory of sons is their fathers.
For, “Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it.”For, “The one who desires life, to love and see good days, Must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit. He must turn away from evil and do good; He must seek peace and pursue it.”
The wealth of the rich is their fortified city; they imagine it a wall too high to scale.A rich person’s wealth is his strong city, And like a high wall in his own imagination.

But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to blot out their name from the earth.The face of the Lord is against evildoers, To eliminate the memory of them from the earth.
