Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, “If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”Then Jesus said to those Jews who did believe in him, “If you remain faithful to my word, you will truly be my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Then the other disciple, who reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed; for as yet they did not understand the scripture, that he must rise from the dead.Then the other disciple who had reached the tomb first also went inside, and he saw and believed. They still did not understand the Scripture indicating that he must rise from the dead.
Know then in your heart that as a parent disciplines a child so the Lord your God disciplines you.Thus you could understand that the Lord, your God, was disciplining you, just like a father disciplines his son.
When Jesus had received the wine, he said, “It is finished.” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.When Jesus had taken the wine, he said, “It is finished.” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.And if then my people who bear my name humble themselves and pray to me and seek my presence as they turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear them from heaven and forgive their sins and restore their land.

What then should we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet, if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. Yet if it had not been for the Law, I would not have known what sin was. I would not have known what covet is if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
Then Peter came and said to him, “Lord, if another member of the church sins against me, how often should I forgive? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “Not seven times, but, I tell you, seventy-seven times.”Then Peter came up to him and asked, “Lord, if my brother sins against me, how often must I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus answered, “I say to you, not seven times but seventy times seven.”
Then I saw that all toil and all skill in work come from one person's envy of another. This also is vanity and a chasing after wind.Then I came to realize that all toil and skill in work derive from one person’s envy of another. This also is vanity and a chase after the wind.
Then Jesus answered them, “My teaching is not mine but his who sent me.”Jesus answered them, “My teaching is not my own; rather, it comes from him who sent me.”
Pay to all what is due them—taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, honor to whom honor is due.Pay to each person what is rightfully his—taxes to the one to whom taxes are due, tolls to the one to whom tolls are due, respect to the one to whom respect is due, honor to the one to whom honor is due.
Then the eyes of both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made loincloths for themselves.Their eyes were opened and they realized that they were naked. They took fig leaves and sewed them together, making themselves a covering.
Then Peter began to speak to them: “I truly understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.”Then Peter addressed them: “I now understand how true it is that God has no favorites, but that in every nation all those who fear God and do what is right are acceptable to him.”
Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper as his partner.”And the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I wish to make another creature who will be like him.”
So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially for those of the family of faith.Therefore, while we have the opportunity, let us labor for the good of all, but especially for those members of the household of the faith.
So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.
Then Job arose, tore his robe, shaved his head, and fell on the ground and worshiped. He threw himself prostrate on the ground and said: “Naked I emerged from my mother’s womb, and naked I will return. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”
Pray then in this way: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.This is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.’
Then Jesus, crying with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commend my spirit.” Having said this, he breathed his last.He cried out, “Father, into your hands I commend my spirit.” And with these words he breathed his last.
For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, says the Lord God. Turn, then, and live.I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, says the Lord God. Repent and live!
Everyone then who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock.Everyone who hears these words of mine and acts in accordance with them will be like a wise man who constructed his house on a rock foundation.
So then, a sabbath rest still remains for the people of God; for those who enter God's rest also cease from their labors as God did from his.Therefore, a Sabbath rest still remains for the people of God, since those who enter into God’s rest also cease from their own labors as God did from his.
Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat and drink sweet wine and send portions of them to those for whom nothing is prepared, for this day is holy to our Lord; and do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”Then Nehemiah added: “You now may go. Eat rich food and drink what is sweet. Moreover, send some of these to those for whom nothing has been prepared, for this day is holy to our Lord. Furthermore, do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
My child, if your heart is wise, my heart too will be glad.My son, if your heart is wise, then my heart will be glad.

If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord; so then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's.If we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die, we die for the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.
