- This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth; you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to act in accordance with all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall be successful.
- And this good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the world, as a testimony to all the nations; and then the end will come.
- So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.
- What then are we to say? Should we continue in sin in order that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin go on living in it?
- You then, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- For the Son of Man is to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay everyone for what has been done.
- Therefore I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities for the sake of Christ; for whenever I am weak, then I am strong.
- Be careful then how you live, not as unwise people but as wise, making the most of the time, because the days are evil.
- But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without a trace of partiality or hypocrisy.
- Then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trial, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment.
- He said, “Then put away the foreign gods that are among you, and incline your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.”
- Anyone, then, who knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, commits sin.
- So I will display my greatness and my holiness and make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.
- Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, “If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
- If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!
- Then the other disciple, who reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed; for as yet they did not understand the scripture, that he must rise from the dead.
- If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
- Then everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
- Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper as his partner.”
- What then should we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet, if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
- Then the eyes of both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made loincloths for themselves.
- Then Peter came and said to him, “Lord, if another member of the church sins against me, how often should I forgive? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “Not seven times, but, I tell you, seventy-seven times.”
- Know then in your heart that as a parent disciplines a child so the Lord your God disciplines you.
- When Jesus had received the wine, he said, “It is finished.” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
- Then he said to them all, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”
- So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially for those of the family of faith.
- Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots to divide his clothing.
- Then Job arose, tore his robe, shaved his head, and fell on the ground and worshiped. He said, “Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return there; the Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”
- How much more valuable is a human being than a sheep! So it is lawful to do good on the sabbath.
- Pray then in this way:
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven. - Then I saw that all toil and all skill in work come from one person's envy of another. This also is vanity and a chasing after wind.
- Then Jesus answered them, “My teaching is not mine but his who sent me.”
- Pay to all what is due them—taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, honor to whom honor is due.
- Then Peter began to speak to them: “I truly understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.”
- Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat and drink sweet wine and send portions of them to those for whom nothing is prepared, for this day is holy to our Lord; and do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
- So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.
- Now therefore, if you obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession out of all the peoples. Indeed, the whole earth is mine.
