Bible Verses about 'Then'

  • Therefore Jesus said, “For a little while longer I am going to be with you, and then I am going to Him who sent Me.”
  • What then if you see the Son of Man ascending to where He was before?
  • When pride comes, then comes dishonor;
    But with the humble there is wisdom.
  • Then you will discern righteousness, justice,
    And integrity, and every good path.
  • Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
  • What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
  • What then? Are we to sin because we are not under the Law but under grace? Far from it!
  • I have made a covenant with my eyes;
    How then could I look at a virgin?
  • Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.

  • This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.

  • So then, be careful how you walk, not as unwise people but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil.
  • Then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from a trial, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment.
  • Now then, do away with the foreign gods which are in your midst, and incline your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.
  • Then Job got up, tore his robe, and shaved his head; then he fell to the ground and worshiped. He said,
    “Naked I came from my mother’s womb,
    And naked I shall return there.
    The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away.
    Blessed be the name of the Lord.”

So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly My disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
