Then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment.Then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment.
Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, “If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. So then the other disciple who came first to the tomb also entered in, and he saw and believed. For as yet they didn’t know the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead.Then the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed; for as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead.
