- Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be filled. - I spread out my hands to you.
My soul thirsts for you, like a parched land. Selah. - My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When shall I come and appear before God? - But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst again; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.
- Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
- God, you are my God.
I will earnestly seek you.
My soul thirsts for you.
My flesh longs for you,
in a dry and weary land, where there is no water. - Now on the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink!”
- They will never be hungry or thirsty any more. The sun won’t beat on them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the middle of the throne shepherds them and leads them to springs of life-giving waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
- For he satisfies the longing soul.
He fills the hungry soul with good.
But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.Next verse! With image
