Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. | And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. |

Where there is strife, there is pride, but wisdom is found in those who take advice. | Through overconfidence comes nothing but strife, But wisdom is with those who receive counsel. |

As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him. | As for God, His way is blameless; The word of the Lord is refined; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him. |
God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth. | God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. |
Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. | Those whom I love, I rebuke and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent. |
Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness. | And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. |
My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me. | My times are in Your hand; Rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from those who persecute me. |
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to blot out their name from the earth. | The face of the Lord is against evildoers, To eliminate the memory of them from the earth. |
Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully. | Watch yourselves, that you do not lose what we have accomplished, but that you may receive a full reward. |
Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests. | Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among people with whom He is pleased. |
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. | So then, while we have opportunity, let’s do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith. |
The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy. | Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, But those who deal faithfully are His delight. |
Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. | Therefore He is also able to save forever those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. |
God sets the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land. | God makes a home for the lonely; He leads out the prisoners into prosperity, Only the rebellious live in parched lands. |
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. | For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. |
