True love (2/4)

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.
Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all offenses.
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.And if you say in your heart, ‘How may we know the word that the Lord has not spoken?’— when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him.
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent.
Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee.You are altogether beautiful, my love; there is no flaw in you.
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.”
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
