- And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
- And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
- Thy word is true from the beginning:
and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. - I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
- Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
- Every word of God is pure:
he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. - Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother: And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.
- He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
- For the word of the Lord is right;
and all his works are done in truth. - For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.
- As for God, his way is perfect:
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. - Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
- As for God, his way is perfect;
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. - If ye love me, keep my commandments.
- And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
- We love him, because he first loved us.
- Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
- There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
- But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
- Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
- No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
- A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
- Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
- A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly:
and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. - If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.Teach me to do thy will;
for thou art my God:
thy spirit is good;
lead me into the land of uprightness. Search me, O God, and know my heart:
try me, and know my thoughts:
And see if there be any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.Next verse!With image
