- Since you are my rock and my fortress,
for the sake of your name lead and guide me. - The Lord detests lying lips,
but he delights in people who are trustworthy. - Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous;
you surround them with your favor as with a shield. - In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent.
- But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him,
on those whose hope is in his unfailing love. - It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
- Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.Next verse!With image
