Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Truly'
- Truly my soul finds rest in God;
my salvation comes from him. - Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.”
- Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”
- Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.”
- Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him.
- Very truly I tell you, whoever accepts anyone I send accepts me; and whoever accepts me accepts the one who sent me.
- Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. - Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will never be shaken. - Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
- Give proper recognition to those widows who are really in need.
- So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
- For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.
- When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.
- To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
- Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.
- So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.
- Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.”
- He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
- But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.
- Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.”
- Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed;
save me and I will be saved,
for you are the one I praise. - “Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life.”
- If you really change your ways and your actions and deal with each other justly, if you do not oppress the foreigner, the fatherless or the widow and do not shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not follow other gods to your own harm, then I will let you live in this place, in the land I gave your ancestors for ever and ever.
- Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become “fools” so that you may become wise.
- For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
Since you are my rock and my fortress,
for the sake of your name lead and guide me.Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty—
he is the King of glory. My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever.Next verse!With image
