We (3/4)

O Lord, grant us salvation. O Lord, grant us success. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. We bless you from the house of the Lord.Save us, we pray, O Lord! O Lord, we pray, give us success! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! We bless you from the house of the Lord.
For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so too do we believe that God will bring forth with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.
But our citizenship is in heaven, and from there we await our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, we can say with confidence: “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can anyone do to me?”So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?”
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord, our God.Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
Therefore, we do not lose heart. Even though our outer self is continuing to decay, our inner self is being renewed day by day.So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.
And we are witnesses to these things, as is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him.And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.
And not only that, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we realize that suffering develops perseverance, and perseverance produces character, and character produces hope. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope.
As sorrowful, and yet we are always rejoicing; as poor, and yet we make many rich; as having nothing, and yet we possess everything. As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, yet possessing everything.
Teach us to comprehend how few our days are so that our hearts may be filled with wisdom. So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.
No one has ever seen God, but if we love one another, God abides in us, and his love is made complete in us.No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
This is the commandment we have received from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother. And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.
For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so too, through Christ, do we receive our consolation. For as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.
If we are diligent in observing all of these commandments before the Lord, our God, as he commanded of us, then this will be our righteousness. And it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to do all this commandment before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us.
This is what love is: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as expiation for our sins.In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
However, if we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all wrongdoing. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
By his own choice he gave us birth through the way of truth so that we may be a kind of firstfruits of all his creation.Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
There is no salvation in anyone else, nor is there any other name under heaven given to men by which we can be saved. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
He made him who did not know sin to be sin for our sake, so that through him we might become the righteousness of God.For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Therefore, while we have the opportunity, let us labor for the good of all, but especially for those members of the household of the faith. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.
Can anyone withhold the water of baptism from these people who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have? Can anyone withhold water for baptizing these people, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?
We know that God makes all things work together for good for those who love him and who are called according to his purpose. And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
In Christ and through his blood we have redemption and the forgiveness of our sins. In accord with the riches of his grace. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.
God’s love was revealed to us in this way: God sent his only-begotten Son into the world so that we might have life through him.In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.
See what love the Father has bestowed on us, enabling us to be called the children of God, and that is what we are. If the world does not recognize us, that is because it did not know him.See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
