Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, but the mouth of the wicked, what is perverse. The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, But the mouth of the wicked what is perverse.
Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Remove this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.
But as for you, teach what accords with sound doctrine. But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine.
For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have. For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.
Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul? For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
But he said, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”But He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?
But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?
Now who is there to harm you if you are zealous for what is good? And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good?
But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience. But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
Do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor about your body, what you will put on. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.Do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you too will abide in the Son and in the Father. Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father.
For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul? For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?
