When good things increase, those who consume them increase. So what is the advantage to their owners except to look at them? Ecclesiastes 5:11	When goods increase, those who eat them increase; and what gain has their owner but to see them with his eyes? materialism money desires

For the desire of the flesh is against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, in order to keep you from doing whatever you want. For we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to rein in the whole body as well. James 3:2	For all of us make many mistakes. And He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? Far from it! How shall we who died to sin still live in it? Romans 6:1-2	What then are we to say? Should we continue in sin in order that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin go on living in it? sin grace life
But Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots, dividing His garments among themselves. Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever abandon you,” Hebrews 13:5	Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be content with what you have; for he has said, “I will never leave you or forsake you.” trust money materialism
So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the purpose for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11	So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and succeed in the thing for which I sent it. But as for you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door, and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. Now then, let the fear of the Lord be upon you; be careful about what you do, for the Lord our God will have no part in injustice or partiality, or in the taking of a bribe.
