  • Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

  • Do not be mismatched with unbelievers; for what do righteousness and lawlessness share together, or what does light have in common with darkness?
  • What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
  • For what does it benefit a person to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?
  • Do not worry about your life, as to what you are to eat; nor for your body, as to what you are to wear. For life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
  • As for you, see that what you heard from the beginning remains in you. If what you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.
  • For this is what the Lord says to the house of Israel:
    “Seek Me so that you may live.”
  • But if we hope for what we do not see, through perseverance we wait eagerly for it.
  • What is man that You think of him,
    And a son of man that You are concerned about him?
  • I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.
  • What then? Are we to sin because we are not under the Law but under grace? Far from it!
  • I am coming quickly; hold firmly to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.
  • For He has satisfied the thirsty soul,
    And He has filled the hungry soul with what is good.
  • Give to everyone who asks of you, and whoever takes away what is yours, do not demand it back.
