So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.Because we look not at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen; for what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal.
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good.
If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. Yet, if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”

Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?Do not be mismatched with unbelievers. For what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship is there between light and darkness?
