Whatsoever (2/4)

The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, But the mouth of the wicked what is perverse. The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, But the mouth of the wicked, what is perverted.
Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.Abba! Father! All things are possible for You; remove this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You will.
Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is life not more than food, and the body more than clothing?
For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have. For if the willingness is present, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.
The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?The Lord is for me; I will not fear; What can man do to me?
For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For what good will it do a person if he gains the whole world, but forfeits his soul? Or what will a person give in exchange for his soul?
He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?He has told you, mortal one, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God?
Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming.
What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before? What then if you see the Son of Man ascending to where He was before?
Do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.Do not worry about your life, as to what you are to eat; nor for your body, as to what you are to wear. For life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?Do not be mismatched with unbelievers; for what do righteousness and lawlessness share together, or what does light have in common with darkness?
And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? And who is there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good?
What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? What is man that You think of him, And a son of man that You are concerned about him?
What is desired in a man is kindness, And a poor man is better than a liar. What is desirable in a person is his kindness, And it is better to be a poor person than a liar.
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.
But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. But if we hope for what we do not see, through perseverance we wait eagerly for it.
For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? For what does it benefit a person to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?
So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”So that we confidently say, “The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?”
What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! What then? Are we to sin because we are not under the Law but under grace? Far from it!
Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. Therefore, I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted to you.
Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil. But examine everything; hold firmly to that which is good, abstain from every form of evil.
Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.I am coming quickly; hold firmly to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.
He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, And light dwells with Him.It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, And the light dwells with Him.
In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?In God, whose word I praise, In God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?

And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
