Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one.
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing.When he realizes his guilt in any of these and confesses the sin he has committed, he shall bring to the Lord as his compensation for the sin that he has committed.
When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.When you vow a vow to God, do not delay paying it, for he has no pleasure in fools. Pay what you vow.
Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent.
But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words.
And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job, when he had prayed for his friends. And the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out.
For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!
But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.

So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.Know that wisdom is such to your soul; if you find it, there will be a future, and your hope will not be cut off.
