But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’”This is what the Lord says: “Stop at the crossroads and look around. Ask for the old, godly way, and walk in it. Travel its path, and you will find rest for your souls. But you reply, ‘No, that’s not the road we want!’”
When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. By pride comes nothing but strife, But with the well-advised is wisdom.Pride leads to conflict; those who take advice are wise.
In God is my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, And my refuge, is in God.My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me.
In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, But he who restrains his lips is wise.Too much talk leads to sin. Be sensible and keep your mouth shut.

Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent.God overlooked people’s ignorance about these things in earlier times, but now he commands everyone everywhere to repent of their sins and turn to him.
