Be still before the Lord, and wait patiently for him; do not fret over those who prosper in their way, over those who carry out evil devices.Wait quietly for the Lord and be patient until he comes. Do not fret over the man who prospers because of his evil schemes.
And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.Those who revere your name place their trust in you, for you never abandon those who seek you, O Lord.
Happy are those who keep his decrees, who seek him with their whole heart.Blessed are those who observe his statutes and seek him with their whole heart.
Those who guard their mouths preserve their lives; those who open wide their lips come to ruin.He who guards his mouth makes his life secure, but one who talks excessively ensures his own downfall.
Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my heavenly Father.
But many who are first will be last, and the last will be first.But many who are first will be last, and the last will be first.
Deceit is in the mind of those who plan evil, but those who counsel peace have joy.Deceit is in the heart of those who plot evil, but those who counsel peace have joy.
One who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and one whose temper is controlled than one who captures a city.It is better to be a patient man rather than a warrior, one who controls his temper rather than one who captures a city.
And those who are in the flesh cannot please God.Those who live according to the flesh can never be pleasing to God.
For he will repay according to each one's deeds.For God will repay everyone in accordance with what his deeds deserve.
But the one who endures to the end will be saved.But whoever endures to the end will be saved.
For they said to you, “In the last time there will be scoffers, indulging their own ungodly lusts.” It is these worldly people, devoid of the Spirit, who are causing divisions.For they said to you, “In the final age there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly passions.” It is these people who create divisions, who follow their natural instincts and do not possess the Spirit.
But when he heard this, he said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.”When Jesus heard this, he said, “It is not the healthy who need a physician, but rather those who are sick.”
The commandment we have from him is this: those who love God must love their brothers and sisters also.This is the commandment we have received from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.
Those who are attentive to a matter will prosper, and happy are those who trust in the Lord.The one who pays heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is he who trusts in the Lord.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
In reply he said to them, “Whoever has two coats must share with anyone who has none; and whoever has food must do likewise.”He said to them in reply, “Anyone who has two coats must share with the person who has none, and whoever has food must do likewise.”
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were far off have been brought near through the blood of Christ.
And it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.And now it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. The life I live now in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself up for me.
It is well with those who deal generously and lend, who conduct their affairs with justice.The future bodes well for him who is generous in helping those in need and who conducts his affairs with justice.
But to all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God.However, to those who did accept him and who believed in his name he granted the power to become children of God.
To those who by patiently doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.To those who seek after glory and honor and immortality by persevering in good works, he will grant eternal life.
I can do all things through him who strengthens me.I can do all things in him who strengthens me.
They who have my commandments and keep them are those who love me; and those who love me will be loved by my Father, and I will love them and reveal myself to them.Anyone who has received my commandments and observes them is the one who loves me. And whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him.
Little children, you are from God, and have conquered them; for the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.Dear children, you are from God and you have conquered them, for the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

Everyone then who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock.Everyone who hears these words of mine and acts in accordance with them will be like a wise man who constructed his house on a rock foundation.
