A fool despises his father’s instruction, But he who receives correction is prudent.A fool despises his father’s correction, but he who heeds reproof shows prudence.
He who walks with integrity walks securely, But he who perverts his ways will become known.He who walks blamelessly walks surely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out.
Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.You adulterers and adulteresses, don’t you know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
Whoever has no rule over his own spirit Is like a city broken down, without walls.Like a city that is broken down and without walls is a man whose spirit is without restraint.
Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.”Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is the bondservant of sin.”
Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things.
But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst again; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.He who doesn’t love doesn’t know God, for God is love.
But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?But whoever has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, then closes his heart of compassion against him, how does God’s love remain in him?
He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.He who seeks his life will lose it; and he who loses his life for my sake will find it.
He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned.
To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins.All the prophets testify about him, that through his name everyone who believes in him will receive remission of sins.
He who keeps instruction is in the way of life, But he who refuses correction goes astray.He is in the way of life who heeds correction, but he who forsakes reproof leads others astray.
When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.”He called the multitude to himself with his disciples and said to them, “Whoever wants to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”
He answered and said to them, “He who has two tunics, let him give to him who has none; and he who has food, let him do likewise.”He answered them, “He who has two coats, let him give to him who has none. He who has food, let him do likewise.”
For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.For most certainly I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and doesn’t doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is happening, he shall have whatever he says.
Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock.
And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.He who doesn’t take his cross and follow after me isn’t worthy of me.
And He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, “If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.”He sat down and called the twelve; and he said to them, “If any man wants to be first, he shall be last of all, and servant of all.”
He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will be destroyed.One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.
He who keeps the commandment keeps his soul, But he who is careless of his ways will die.He who keeps the commandment keeps his soul, but he who is contemptuous in his ways shall die.
If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.If anyone serves me, let him follow me. Where I am, there my servant will also be. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.
He who is slow to wrath has great understanding, But he who is impulsive exalts folly.He who is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a quick temper displays folly.
Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.”Peter opened his mouth and said, “Truly I perceive that God doesn’t show favoritism; but in every nation he who fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.”

He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me, and I in him.
