Don’t love the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love isn’t in him. | Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. |
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. | And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. |
Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. The multitude of those who believed were of one heart and soul. Not one of them claimed that anything of the things which he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. | Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common. |
