When goods increase, they increase who eat them, and what advantage has their owner but to see them with his eyes? Ecclesiastes 5:11	The more you have, the more people come to help you spend it. So what good is wealth—except perhaps to watch it slip through your fingers! materialism money desires

But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? 1 John 3:17	If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person? money neighbor compassion

May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus. For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine.

For I long to visit you so I can bring you some spiritual gift that will help you grow strong in the Lord. When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours.
