In the multitude of words there is no lack of disobedience, but he who restrains his lips does wisely.When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but whoever restrains his lips is prudent.
Pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is with people who take advice.By insolence comes nothing but strife, but with those who take advice is wisdom.
So teach us to count our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.
A fool shows his annoyance the same day, but one who overlooks an insult is prudent.The vexation of a fool is known at once, but the prudent ignores an insult.
