If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.
You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.
For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.
Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over.
Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke?Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?
