And I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. | Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means ‘rock’), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it. |
Therefore, encourage one another and build one another up, just as you also are doing. | So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing. |
For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all who call upon You. | O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help. |
