- You are altogether beautiful, my darling,

- The good person out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil person out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart.
- I said to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
I have nothing good besides You.” - No temptation has overtaken you except something common to mankind; and God is faithful, so He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

- And who is there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good?
- By this all people will know that you are My disciples: if you have love for one another.
