| The angel said to them, “Don’t be afraid, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be to all the people.” | And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. |
| The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. All those who do his work have a good understanding. His praise endures forever! | The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever. |

| Behold, God is my helper. The Lord is the one who sustains my soul. | Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. |
| “Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked?” says the Lord Yahweh, “and not rather that he should return from his way, and live?” | Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord God: and not that he should return from his ways, and live? |

| Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord’s work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. | Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. |
| You shall not add to the word which I command you, neither shall you take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of Yahweh your God which I command you. | Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. |
| There are many plans in a man’s heart, but Yahweh’s counsel will prevail. | There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand. |

| Seek Yahweh, all you humble of the land, who have kept his ordinances. Seek righteousness. Seek humility.
