- He answered, “Haven’t you read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh’? So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart.”
- Behold, God is my helper.
The Lord is the one who sustains my soul. - Jesus answered him, “Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born anew, he can’t see God’s Kingdom.”
- One who believes in the Son has eternal life, but one who disobeys the Son won’t see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
- Most certainly I tell you, a servant is not greater than his lord, neither is one who is sent greater than he who sent him.
- For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don’t use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love be servants to one another.

- Finally, all of you be like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous.
- A man’s pride brings him low,
but one of lowly spirit gains honor. - Wicked people earn deceitful wages,
but one who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward. - God, having raised up his servant Jesus, sent him to you first to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your wickedness.
- No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a container or puts it under a bed; but puts it on a stand, that those who enter in may see the light.
- One thing I have asked of Yahweh, that I will seek after:
that I may dwell in Yahweh’s house all the days of my life,
to see Yahweh’s beauty,
and to inquire in his temple. - He who guards his mouth guards his soul.
One who opens wide his lips comes to ruin. - But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son, cleanses us from all sin.
- There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
- Therefore let’s not judge one another any more, but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block in his brother’s way, or an occasion for falling.
- It shall be, when he is guilty of one of these, he shall confess that in which he has sinned.
- Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be building him up.
- Don’t let him who eats despise him who doesn’t eat. Don’t let him who doesn’t eat judge him who eats, for God has accepted him.
