For the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy, says: “I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.”For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
But the tax collector, standing far away, wouldn’t even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
The vine has dried up, and the fig tree withered— the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all of the trees of the field are withered; for joy has withered away from the sons of men.The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.
A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
Yahweh makes poor and makes rich. He brings low, he also lifts up.The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.
I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth.I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
He who didn’t spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things?He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
God, having raised up his servant Jesus, sent him to you first to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your wickedness.Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
Yahweh bless you, and keep you. Yahweh make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. Yahweh lift up his face toward you, and give you peace.The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
Therefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as you also do.Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to the sky, he blessed them, broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude. They ate and were all filled. He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity.He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.
But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down. Yahweh loves the righteous.The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind: the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down: the Lord loveth the righteous.
But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
He called the multitude to himself with his disciples and said to them, “Whoever wants to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
For you will light my lamp, Yahweh. My God will light up my darkness.For thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.
But speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him who is the head, Christ.But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.
Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Oh how great is your goodness, which you have laid up for those who fear you, which you have worked for those who take refuge in you, before the sons of men!Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!
Because your loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise you. So I will bless you while I live. I will lift up my hands in your name.Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst again; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
