He ate nothing at all during those days, and when they were over, he was famished.
You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. You who want to be justified by the law have cut yourselves off from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God— not the result of works, so that no one may boast.

For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”For in it the righteousness of God is revealed through faith for faith; as it is written, “The one who is righteous will live by faith.”
He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit. He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we had done, but according to his mercy, through the water of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.So we do not lose heart. Even though our outer nature is wasting away, our inner nature is being renewed day by day.
All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law.All who have sinned apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many! But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died through the one man's trespass, much more surely have the grace of God and the free gift in the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abounded for the many.

Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great: He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.Without any doubt, the mystery of our religion is great: He was revealed in flesh, vindicated in spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among Gentiles, believed in throughout the world, taken up in glory.
But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.Blessed are those who trust in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord.
