This is how we know if they have the Spirit of God: If a person claiming to be a prophet acknowledges that Jesus Christ came in a real body, that person has the Spirit of God. But if someone claims to be a prophet and does not acknowledge the truth about Jesus, that person is not from God. By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. After all, we brought nothing with us when we came into the world, and we can’t take anything with us when we leave it. So if we have enough food and clothing, let us be content. 1 Timothy 6:7-8	For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can’t carry anything out. So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world. Hebrews 4:9-10	There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For he who has entered into his rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from his. sabbath rest work

But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. No one lights a lamp and then covers it with a bowl or hides it under a bed. A lamp is placed on a stand, where its light can be seen by all who enter the house. Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.

For you need endurance so that, having done the will of God, you may receive the promise.
